Variety: Gaglioppo 80 %, Cabernet Sauvignon 20 %. Production: Area Calabria, Melissa (KR) Location “La Sorbia”. Hilly clayey and calcareous soil . Mediterranean climate with mild winters and hot, dry summers. Grape yield per hectare: 60-70 q.li. Vinification: Manual harvest in October. Traditional fermentation with maceration for 20 days, racking and soft pressing. Maturation: In stainless steel tanks. Aging in oak barrels French for 4 months. Tasting and olfactory notes: With an intense red color with violet reflections and strong hints of berries. Soft taste with well-fused tannins. Pairings: Excellent in combination with meat dishes, cold cuts and aged cheeses. Alcohol: 14%
